Changes that are keeping me ”ACTIVE & PRODUCTIVE” during lockdown!
Starting right from mid-march to date! Whenever you talk to someone, the first few things they usually ask are ”How are you coping up at home?”, ”Are you bored at home too?”, ”How has been quarantine treating you?”. The only answer I have for all these questions is ”I am growing like I never did!”.

It has been more than 3 years I am staying away from my home for my job! And if you know me personally, firstly hey friend 🤣! you know I am not a very outgoing person I love staying back at home usually. I am that ”Plan Canceller” that every group has. But these past months have been the longest time people have stayed home and it is kind of messing up with their head. Being honest it did happen with me too at the start, so I thought of listing down few points that made it not only easy but happy days for me. Being honest now going back to normal haunts me more!
here is my current mind state meme below! Just for fun 🤣

Here are things that did wonders for my lifestyle change.
1. Cooking and eating healthy

Very simple yet very effective, we are pampered that way that we get food in our hand all prepared all done. That adds up to our laziness! Getting up to prepare my food be it just breakfast or snacks but it really did make a change. Firstly helps and motivates me to eat healthily and keeps distracting me from sitting for too long or being too lazy! Try it and you won’t regret it.
2. Exercise

This is the most common change you must have come across social media where people trying to do home workouts, be regular with their workout schedule, be it weight training, running, cycling, or anything that keeps you active and fit. This is the best time to cultivate this habit in the long run and I am definitely enjoying it.
3. Family time

This point needs absolutely no explanation, just think how long it has been that you have spent time with your family, staying back home? Your answer is the perfect reason why you should spare your family time every single day! In case you are stuck somewhere else, you still save a lot of your time that was not available before this pandemic. Use that time to voice call/video call your family/Friends/Loved ones.
For me, evening tea time is my family time where we all sit together have tea, share things, have fun, and laugh a lot. This is the best time of the day for me.
4. Spending peacetime at sunset

With the skies getting beautiful and peaceful, spending a few minutes in sunset under the sky gives you a clear picture of your life, goals, relationships, and future. It brings a sense of peacefulness and calmness. I have incorporated this into my routine and I feel more content and happy about myself.
5. Shopping (guilty pleasure for me)

This is a very subjective point here. But for me going out to buy groceries/toiletries/household stuff instantly brightens up my mood! So, I prefer going out to run some small errands to keep myself sane and active at the same time.
ONLY AND ONLY STEP OUTSIDE WITH FULL PRECAUTIONS.
6. Learning new skill

Scrolling through the internet, I came across a post that said – “If you come out of this quarantine without learning something new, you were not lacking time you were lacking discipline”. You have all the required time and your internet resources to learn a new skill or brush up an existing one. Use this time to do it. This will not only keep you busy but will keep you motivated too.
7. Time with my pets

Pictures are enough!
So, I am basically a mom to two very very very cute Lil babies, a cat named Jack and a dog named Kiwi. And spending time with them all day, be it sleeping with them, playing with them, or they just being around is a blessing for me. If I ever had a wish that could come true, I would want nothing but to be with them forever! ❤️
These little changes in my daily routine have made me a better person inside out. calmer, more thoughtful, much happier.
